Embracing the New Internet with IPv6 Forum Certification

Congratulation to Mr Ken Ong from Phillip Securities Pte Ltd for winning an iPad mini during Progreso’s event!
Progreso Training has organised a short IPv6 event on 21 December 2012 at Singapore Management University(SMU) to educate the fellow ICT professionals on the value of IPv6 technology. We have shared on some fundamentals on IPv6 and the possible learning paths for IPv6 training which the courses will be funded by the government

During the event, we have also shared with our participants the GREAT NEWS from Progreso. We have been appointed as a NICF Programme Partner for IPv6 training and upgrading the professionals in the Infocomm industry. This programme is targeted at Network Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, Senior Cloud Operations Engineer, Technical Support Associate and Associate Security Administrator with a funding package of up to 70% course fee grant for professionals who are either Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents seeking to upgrade their skills and acquire new skills on Telecommunications and Networks in IPv6. IPv6 Introductory Workshop - October 2012

Security Exchange 2012

IPv6 Introductory Workshop - Aug 2012

Businesses that continue to rely solely on IPv4 technology and have no plans to implement the new version protocol - IPv6 technology in the near future will risk running into a host of business challenges. Problems may occur from increasing costs, limits website functionality to inhibit critical growth opportunities in emerging markets and beyond if there is no transition made from IPv4 to IPv6 technology.

Progreso Networks had organised a half day Introductory Workshop on 31 August 2012 to equip network professionals with a quick understanding on IPv6 technology through some topics such as the evolution of IPv6, IPv6 Improvement and Features, IPv6 Security and IPv4 to IPv6 Co-Existence Overview.
